Killarney

You can hardly complain that it is too wet to enjoy the glorious lakeland scenery of Killarney National Park since without the rain there'd be no lakes.

We drove through yet more dramatic mountain roads to Moll's Gap, stopped at Ladies View and Torc Waterfall and visited Ross Castle. We had a ramble around Killarney and lunch. I tried my first Beef and Guiness stew - delicious! Lyn failed to find boots or, her new project,  a hat to keep her ears warm.

As we drove along the coast we saw a pretty good surf beach but the weather explains why Ireland has not yet taken the surfing world by storm.

We have arrived in Dingle.  There are rumours the weather might improve tomorrow.
