Lyn was the cleanest person on EK419. She showered before we left and twice more at the airport. All this in an attempt to wash away soreness, exhaustion and pre-flight terror. Not even the new neck pillow worked. It probably didn't help that she was forced to surrender yet another pair of nail scissors to airport security. What happens to them all? Is there a secret vault full of knitting needles and nail scissors guarded somewhere by the AFP. I like to think so.
Once on the plane Lyn triumphed over one toilet door and is working on the other. I watched Bogart and Bacall in 'To Have and Have Not' on the in-flight entertainment. It has the awesome whistle scene but otherwise is a sad rip off of Casablanca but with fishing. Bacall gets all the best lines, even when she isn't talking.
I know that this isn't much of a blog post but I was bored. Two and a half hours to go to Bangkok. Next time I might review the meal...
