Quiet Day

Lyn insisted that we walk through the rain and wind up to McCaigh's Tower overlooking Oban. It was so cold the metal poles wore knitted jumpers.

At the top the contrast between the view and the information board was comical.

The monument itself is interesting enough.

Afterwards, we walked to Tescos for supplies and had coffee and a Big Breakfast in the cafe there. Then it was op shopping time.

It was one of those pleasant rest days. We read The Guardian, napped, Lyn went to mass and we ate out. The sun randomly appeared and disappeared.
