Build it and they will come

We left Llandudno on a glorious day and drove to the cliffs of Anglesey where puffins, guillemots, razorbills and many other species gather to observe the birdwatchers who have migrated there from all over the world. Lyn was scared of the heights but not scared to explain at tedious length her newfound knowledge of the deep-diving capabilities of guillemots.

From there we went to Portmeirion where some mad genius decided to build an entire Mediterranean-kitsch village in the middle of a botanical garden. It is beautifully weird.

The final leg of our journey was to our BnB in southern Snowdonia. These are my photos of our brief evening stroll. The weather tomorrow threatens to be less idyllic.
