Athens-Corinth-Nafplio

We were inspired, or should I say Leon was, to go out this morning to buy a pot and a heating implement. We have our supplies ... it’s great to be independent and fed wholesomely...

Dr "Veerus" had told us that Lyn should avoid oily food. I needed to buy a pot and cooker for evening meals. Lunches from here on would be picnics of bread, ham, cheese and asparagus.

Driving around the Bay of Eleusis I saw the island of Salamis and the Peloponnese in the distance. Then we crossed the bridge over the Corinth Canal. I was amazed at the depth of the cut.

We bought me a scarf and beanie today – I have been so cold I can’t believe it.

... picked up our hire car and off to the Peloponnese. At Corinth a cat fell in love with Lyn and we climbed Acrocorinth. It was exhilarating but bitterly cold – the view stupendous.

We have found a nice little hotel in Nafplio and it has extra blankets! To keep the milk cool we left it outside on the balcony.
