Dr "Veerus"

We were much relieved back at the Herodion to get Lyn an English-speaking doctor. He pronounced that Lyn had a virus (“veerus”) and was full of advice. His most important recommendation was bed rest for two days. He also told her not to eat oily food – in Greece !%&#@

In fact he had 1001 suggestions. He was worth his weight in gold!

Spent two days in bed sleeping / reading / watching Greek TV.

While Lyn took life easy I toured Athens.

That afternoon I took myself to the National Archaeological Museum. The Mycenaean exhibits and the sculpture halls were particularly awesome.

On the way home, while searching for the right bus, I met a helpful classical composer who liked Australia. We chatted at length.
